Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made on Unifop, a brand of Acharya Consulting. It works together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Escrow model
When you pay for an order, funds are typically held for that order until the buyer accepts delivery, a revision cycle completes under package rules, or an order is cancelled or resolved under Platform rules. Seller earnings then move according to those statuses.
2. When refunds may be issued
Refunds (full or partial) may be considered when:
- An unpaid order is cancelled before payment.
- A paid order is cancelled under Platform or admin resolution before completion.
- Delivered work is not provided as described, and the buyer cannot obtain a suitable resolution after good-faith use of messaging/revisions.
- A clear duplicate charge or confirmed payment processor error occurs.
- Required by applicable law.
3. When refunds are generally not available
- After the buyer has accepted delivery and the order is marked completed, except where required by law or in cases of proven fraud.
- Change of mind after substantial work has started under clear agreed requirements.
- Issues caused by incomplete, contradictory, or late buyer requirements.
- Services already used or downloaded and conforming to the gig description.
4. Revisions before refund
Buyers should use included revisions where available. Escalation or refund requests should include order ID, evidence of the issue, and a clear desired outcome.
5. Seller withdrawals
Amounts already withdrawn by a seller may not be refundable to the buyer from Unifop. In such cases we may reverse available balance, recover funds from the seller, or pursue other remedies allowed under the Terms.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Bank or processor timing varies (often several business days). Demo / test payments do not create real refund obligations.
7. How to request a refund
Open the order on Unifop and contact support / Acharya Consulting with your order reference. We may request additional information to investigate.
8. Policy changes
We may update this Refund Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when revisions are published.
