Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Unifop (a brand of Acharya Consulting) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Platform.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed), role (buyer/seller/admin), and seller profile details you provide.
  • Marketplace data: gigs, orders, messages, deliveries, reviews, withdrawal requests, and related metadata.
  • Payment data: payment status, method labels, and references from processors. We do not store full card numbers on Unifop servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies or similar technologies used for session security and product analytics.

2. How we use information

  • To operate accounts, orders, escrow-style holds, messaging, delivery, reviews, and payouts.
  • To prevent fraud, enforce Terms, and secure the Platform.
  • To communicate transactional notices (order status, password resets) and, where permitted, product updates.
  • To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

3. Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Other users as needed for an order (e.g., buyer/seller identity and messages on that order).
  • Service providers (hosting, email, payment processors) under appropriate safeguards.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Retention

We retain account and transaction records as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request account closure subject to outstanding orders or compliance holds.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your choices

  • Update profile information from your account settings.
  • Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law allows.
  • Control cookies via your browser settings (disabling essential cookies may break login/checkout).

7. Children

Unifop is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy and will post the revised date above. For privacy requests related to Unifop, contact Acharya Consulting through the channels published on unifop.com.
